First, there was the traditional faxing solution where faxes were sent from traditional fax machine to fax machine. Then came the second generation in fax solutions where a fax number could be attached to an e-mail address and faxes could now be delivered as an e-mail attachment.
Virtual Fax, pioneers of the 3rd generation in fax solutions introduces a revolution in Fax transmission and reception:

Virtual-Faxes can be sent in 3 different ways, as outlined below:
1. Email to Fax:
An email would be drafted and sent to "faxnumber"@faxsend.co.za - the body of the mail will serve as the coversheet, the
attachment will serve as the fax itself. All major file formats are supported.
With this method, the user will receive an email fax delivery status report, and should the receiving line be busy, the fax will be
resent 5 times, in two minute intervals, until the fax is sent or a permanent failure occurs.
2. Print to Fax:
A driver is installed which mimics a printer, allowing you to "Print" directly to the Fax service, simply by entering in the fax number
when prompted.
3. Web to Fax:
The user can log onto the web portal at http://login.virfax.co.za/new_reg/add_user.aspx?domain=10003180 - and logging in with
their username and password. The interface is very similar to Outlook Web Access, and is therefore familiar to most. Sending a
fax is as simple as sending an email.
